Aden is a Yemeni city situated in Aden Gulf.
From the ancient Yemeni history (1000 years B.C.), there was a
continuous link between Yemen and neighboring countries via trade
exchange of marbles called “Aqeeq”, incense, chewing gum, spices and
others.
Main media for transporting these commodities were ships, which
certify involvement of Aden peoples in the secrets of seas and
oceans.
Till 1960,
Aden considered to be the second busiest seaport in the
world, after New York.
Aden Airport was one of the important stations in the Middle East.
Aden had owned its own airline called “Aden Airways”. |
